Facilities

Demere Field House

The Demere Field House, the newest addition to the campus, is named in honor of Mr. Robert Demere, a longtime friend and supporter. This state-of-the-art athletic facility features classroom space, offices for trainers and coaches, a weight room, locker rooms, and a concession stand. An expansive outdoor deck offers stunning views of the athletic fields, making it a popular gathering place for St. Andrew’s families.

The Lions Den

We’re thrilled to announce that our new athletic fields are now complete! This milestone marks a major step forward for our athletic program and reflects our school’s ongoing commitment to student growth, excellence, and community.

The Johnson Center

In 2002, St. Andrew’s grew its campus footprint with the acquisition of the property across Betz Creek, previously home to the Islands YMCA. Following a year of significant renovations, the space was transformed into the Early Childhood Center and renamed the Johnson Center in honor of lead donor Mr. Neil C. Johnson. Today, the Johnson Center features the campus’s second gym, serving as the heart of Lower School athletics. It provides a vibrant, age-appropriate environment where young students can develop foundational skills, stay active, and build a love for movement and play.

The Compton Center

St. Andrew’s School is proud to offer two outstanding gymnasiums on campus, each with its own unique role and history. The Compton Center, named in honor of Mr. Charles B. Compton, was one of the original buildings constructed when the new campus opened in 1978. Today, it stands as the hub of our athletic program—home to indoor varsity competitions, spirited school traditions, and regional tournaments that draw teams from across the area. More than just a gym, Compton is a gathering place for the entire school community. And if you’re catching a home game, be sure to check out the energy and pride of our student section, famously known as The Compton Crazies.

Lower School Fields

Located just beyond the Johnson Center, the Lower School fields are a vibrant extension of our campus where energy and imagination come to life. This multi-purpose space hosts daily practices, physical education classes, games, and special events—all tailored to the developmental needs of our youngest student-athletes. Whether it’s learning the fundamentals, building teamwork, or simply enjoying the joy of play, the field is where it all begins.
